Islam
Islam is the religion of the Muslims.
The word Islam is an Arabic word which literally means 'submission to God'.
Muslims worship one God, known as Allah. Since the name Allah has been described as a perfect title for the lord almighty.
The holy scripture of the Muslims is the Holy Qur'an (Kur'an). The Qur'an is the word of Allah.
The religion of Islam has been around since the time of Hz.Adem (Adam) the first man and has carried on through time via Prophets and Messengers. Examples of Prophets and Messengers are Hz. Nuh (Noah), Hz. Musa (Moses), Hz. Ibrahim (Abraham) and Hz. Isa (Jesus). However the modern form of Islam was propagated by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who is the seal of the Prophets. Thus there will be no more Prophets.
There are core actions and beliefs that a Muslim aims to abide by. These are:
